Automatic filtration system for fountains

How does it work?

The filtration system is responsible for continuous, automatic, and safe cleaning and disinfection of pool water. Its operation is carried out in several stages:

• The pump draws water from the pool and forces it to circulate through the entire system.
• The sand filter mechanically removes contaminants such as leaves, and fine solid particles.
• The UV lamp disinfects the water by neutralizing bacteria, viruses and algae without the use of chemicals.
• The pH and chlorine dosing units precisely adjust the water balance and maintain the correct level of disinfection, ensuring comfort and safety for users.
• Optional: An automatic filter cleaning system initiates the backwash process, ensuring high filtration efficiency and minimal manual maintenance.
  

The entire system is supervised by a pool controller, which integrates all components, enables fully automatic operation, and allows continuous monitoring of water parameters.

What does it include?

The filtration system is a complete, factory-prepared solution for pool operation, containing all the essential components required for filtration, disinfection, and system control. The system includes:

• Aquatechnix pump – with power matched to the capacity of the pool or fountain, ensuring stable and efficient water circulation.
• AstralPool sand filter – with a filtration surface appropriately sized for the pool or fountain, providing effective removal of mechanical impurities.
• AstralPool 6-way valve – allows easy switching between different filter operating modes.
• Blue Lagoon UV lamp – supports water disinfection, reduces the amount of chemicals used, and improves overall water quality.
• Bayrol pH and chlorine dosing system – automatically maintains correct water parameters, ensuring safety and comfort for users.
• Pool controller – a central control unit managing the operation of the pump, filtration, chemical dosing, and additional devices.
• Heating bypass – prepared for connection to heating devices such as a heat pump, electric heater, or heat exchanger.
• Complete piping and wiring – the system is fully assembled on a plastic pallet and ready for connection at the installation site.
• Optional: Automatic filter cleaning valve – enables automatic backwashing of the filter without the need for manual operation.
  

Thanks to this configuration, the system is a complete, integrated, and user-friendly installation, ideal for private pools, commercial pools, and fountains.

Installation on site

Installation of the filtration system is quick and straightforward. It can be carried out by our technicians directly at the installation site or by the customer independently, following the guidelines provided by us.

Connecting the system involves:

• connecting the water inlet from the pool or fountain to the pump,
• connecting the water outlet from the system back to the pool or fountain,
• connecting the drain outlet, used during the filter cleaning (backwashing) process.

Optionally, a heating bypass can also be connected, allowing integration with a heat pump, electric heater, or heat exchanger.

All piping is made of PVC-U pipes with a diameter of 50 mm and must be bonded using a dedicated adhesive for pressure installations..

The system is equipped with shut-off and control valves, ensuring:

• easy and intuitive operation,
• convenient servicing of individual devices,
• quick adjustment and isolation of flow when required.

Thanks to its well-designed construction, the system is ready for operation as early as the day after the pipe connections have been glued.
